Native American guest speaker

Mr. Gatewood was welcomed as a guest speaker for our 3rd-grade students. He shared about his Native American culture and heritage. We learned about the Navajo people and his family’s history in the military. Mr. Gatewood explained the Navajo traditions involving kachina dolls and wedding vases. 3rd Grade students and teachers were thankful for this engaging learning opportunity on Monday, November 25.
